| ProgressionOn this site there is a concept known as Progression, which essentially allows characters to continue to grow in strength over time. As a result there is no such thing as a Peak amount of Reiryoku one can obtain in their life-time as a character who continues to train and hone their skills will continue to get stronger until they eventually die from old age. Each Character type has there own unique method of Progression which differenciate them from the others, in addition all Transcendent States require a character to have undergone at least 1 Progression before one can attempt to Transcend. In addition to those methods there exists an additional method which involves training within the Dangai, however it is an extremely risky method of training which though boosting one's strength likewise shortens one's natural life-span through the passage of time as well as often can lead to one's death if it is not done properly thanks due to composition of the Dangai as well as the beings which dwell within it. Base Reiryoku AmountWhile Reishi does exist in multiple types, these types being mainly Positive, Neutral and Negative, it only refers to the composition of spirit particles. Reiryoku is the power which all spiritually aware beings use and is the joint commonality between the two races, The Living & The Dead. One's Reiryoku amount follows this with only Constant Training, & Progression adding on to the amount. Amount of Reiryoku - Comparison to Ranks E - Below Basic D - Basic C - Novice B - Apprentice A - Adept S - Expert X - Master Y - Transcendent Z - Primordial For ease of use the letters are listed so that they can be used interchangeably with the actual ranks in the Rp. Likewise each rank has a system which serves to determine how much of one rank is within another. EquivalenceE = 1 E D = 2 E C = 2 D B = 2 C A = 2 B S = 2 A X = 2 S Y = 2 X Z = 2 Y [spoiler=Other Equivalence[/b][/u] For ease of conversion here is a listed version of each level in Below Basic (E) format. E = E D = 2 E C = 4 E B = 8 E A = 16 E S = 32 E X = 64 E Y = 128 E Z = 256 As you can see, it increases by a scale of double per rank, meaning the disparity between Basic and Novice is actually 2x while the disparity between basic and Apprentice is 8x. As a result when concerning the overall power of a character the difference between someone ranked as a Novice in comparison to one being ranks as a Primordial in a certain skill means essentially that they (the latter) are 128 times as skilled as the former (Huge difference right? Sometimes it's okay to just run away..). The Starting Reiryoku Amounts Differ Dependent on what type of character you start as. As a Spiritually Sensitive Human you have: 1 E amount of Reiryoku As a Plus you have: 1 C amount of Reiryoku Pathetic, yeah I know. Thankfully there are ways to increase it through progression however the most spread means of gaining more Reiryoku is Training. Every character can train to increase their Reiryoku. This is a daily training session which has various amounts dependent on the amount of Reiryoku you wish to train and is only limited by the progression you have obtained. E - 100 Words D - 200 Words C - 400 Words B - 600 Words A - 800 Words S - 1000 Words X - 1500 Words Y - 2000 Words Z - 3000 Words Current Progression - Amount of Reiryoku Trainable Starter (Spiritually Sensitive Human/Plus) - E 1st (Base Sub-Race e.g Fullbringer) - D 2nd (1st Adv Base Sub-Race e.g Gillian) - C 3rd (2nd Adv Base Sub-Race e.g Count) - B 4th (Max Adv Base Sub-Race e.g Captain) - A 5th (Base Transcendent e.g Erzengal) - S 6th (1st Adv Transcendent e.g Shikai possessing Zanpakuto Spirit) - X 7th (2nd Adv Transcendent e.g Segunda Etapa possessing Arrancar) - Y 8th (Leader of an Organization e.g Captain-Commander) - Z That is the most basic means of progressing and gathering more Reiryoku for your character, this Daily Training also takes the spot of your techniques so one training through this method has the option of either training to gain more Reiryoku or learning a new technique. Reiryoku ControlWhile Reiryoku itself is important it is just as important to be able to control it, this is of course due to simply throwing around techniques without any control being an inefficient means of fighting opponents. Reiryoku Control goes hand in hand with Reishi manipulation as the better one's control the more skilled they are at their sub-races Reishi manipulation and the less wasteful they are when using techniques. However Reiryoku Control is a constant process which must be done as one becomes stronger as the size of one's Reiryoku is naturally inversely proportionate to their Reiryoku control. The larger ones pool of Reiryoku the more difficult it is to harness it finely as it is Reiryoku's natural inclination to provide more than what is absolutely necessary to use techniques. In a Nutshell, more Reiryoku one has the harder it is to control it, the smaller it is the easier it is to control it. Large Reiryoku = Shoddy Control, the only way that can be offset is through Reiryoku Control. - Reiryoku Control Basics:
Reiryoku Amount - Effects of No Reiryoku Control Current Amount of Reiryoku 1 B and below - Nothing 1 A - E-rank Techniques cost double Reiryoku 1 S - D-rank Techniques cost double Reiryoku 1 X - C-rank Techniques cost double Reiryoku 1 Y - B-rank Techniques cost double Reiryoku 1 Z - A-rank Techniques cost double Reiryoku
Past Current Amount of Reiryoku 1 B past Current Amount of Reiryoku - Nothing 1 A Past - E-rank Techniques cost triple Reiryoku 1 S Past - D-rank Techniques cost triple Reiryoku 1 X Past - C-rank Techniques cost triple Reiryoku 1 Y Past - A-rank Techniques cost triple Reiryoku 1 Z Past - S-rank Techniques cost triple Reiryoku
It continues like that unless one trains their Reiryoku control as their Reiryoku increases, as a result rapid increases of Reiryoku is as bad of a thing as it is good as one is forced to retrain their Reiryoku Control all over again lest they loose the ability to properly gauge the amount of Reiryoku needed to preform a low rank technique. *Note: When spending more Reiryoku as a result of poor Reiryoku control in a technique the damage dealt is the same as if one is using the correct amount with good Reiryoku control. -Additionally rapid increases of Reiryoku as a result of releases (Shikai, Bankai etc) do not cause one's Reiryoku Control to be lowered or reset, this only applies to permanent increases to one's overall Reiryoku Pool.
Training Reiryoku Control is simple, just word count based can be done just as frequently as learning a new technique. Meaning this is a Daily training session, where the amount you train is dependent on exactly how much your base Reiryoku is increasing by. Current Reiryoku Control (1 Time Only Training)1 A - 100 Words 1 S - 200 Words 1 X - 400 Words 1 Y - 600 Words 1 Z - 800 Words Past Current Reiryoku Control (Train as Needed)1 A - 200 Words 1 S - 400 Words 1 X - 600 Words 1 Y - 800 Words 1 Z - 1000 Words Other Means of ProgressionPlus ProgressionPlus are capable of progressing in two ways, the first being becoming a Shinigami and the second being turning into a Hollow. Both methods differ like such: Soul Society Born PlusShinigami = 500 Word Topic, Rping your Plus going to join the Shin'ō Academy. Hollow = IC Topic almost getting eaten by a Hollow which causes the Plus to end up being corrupted into one out of fear. Human Death PlusHollow = 500 Word Topic, Rping your Plus having their chain of fate corroded. Shinigami = IC Topic getting Konso'd and then discovering you have enough Reiryoku to join the Shin'ō Academy, Killing or Purifying HollowsThis is a means of progression for Quincy and Shinigami respectively though the means of doing such is the same it is the end result which differs. As either goes through their life they will come into constant conflict with hollows due to their own disdain and fear of the hollows, in the case of the Quincy, while their duty to protect the human world and purify the hollows drive them, in the case of the Shinigami. While doing such their skills increase as they constantly are pushing their limits to do battle with hollows and overtime due to that constant conflict the Reiryoku within them grows to reflect the difficulty of what they face. Both Quincy and Shinigami are the two sub-races which learn the best through trial and combat and thus this is why this method of progression caters to them specifically. - Progression through this method:
Npc Hollow Type - Amount of Reiryoku Gained from Kill - Quincy/Shinigami Plus (Konso'd) - N/A - Shinigami Only Tsukirei (Konso'd) - 1 E - Shinigami Only Jibakurei (Konso'd) - 1 E - Shinigami Only Hollow (Immediately after Encroachment) - 2 E/1 D - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Standard) - 3 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Menos) - 4 E/1 C - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Menos Grande) - 5 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Gillian) - 6 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Gillian with Unique Mask) - 7 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Regressed Gillian) - 8 E/1 B - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Giant Gillian) - 9 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Adjuchas initial transformation) - 10 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Adjuchas Pre-Regression) - 11 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Adjuchas Permanent) - 12 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Adjuchas Bulky Humanoid) - 13 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Adjuchas Animal-like) - 14 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Adjuchas Partial-Humanoid) - 15 E - Quincy & Shinigami Hollow (Vasto Lorde) - 16 E/1 A - Quincy & Shinigami Arrancar (Normal Hollow) - 24 E - Quincy & Shinigami Arrancar (Menos) - 32 E/1 S - Quincy & Shinigami Arrancar (Gillian) - 44 E - Quincy & Shinigami Arrancar (Giant Gillian) - 56 E - Quincy & Shinigami Arrancar (Adjuchas) - 64 E/1 X - Quincy & Shinigami Arrancar (Vasto Lorde) - 128 E/1 Y - Quincy & Shinigami
Soul AbsorptionThis involves the consumption of Living Human Souls, which is done primarily by Bount and Kukol. This is what gives them their immortality and while Hollow are also capable of eating living souls they do not gain the same kind of nourishment a Bount or Kukol does due to their bodies being unable to refine it enough to benefit them. The amount of Reiryoku they are able to absorb from a Soul is inversely proportional to their life-span the closer to death they are the less amount of Reiryoku gained while those who have just started their lives are considered something of a delicacy though due to moral reasons it is typically frowned upon to feed on them. There are three types of feeding, the first being an incomplete feeding which does not kill the victim but ages their Soul in proportion to the amount of their Soul drained by the Bount/Kukol this results in them suddenly dying even though physically they are fine once their soul reaches the natural age they were originally supposed to die at. The second is a complete feeding which leaves the victim in a brain dead state as everything but the bare minimum needed to sustain their life is taken from them and finally the last is the true feeding in which the entire soul is taken and the victims body turns into dust. - Progression through this method:
The average Human life-span varies from 60-80 years, however it can either be shorter or longer, as a result when a target has been acquired one must first roll the Human lifespan die which will then determine the exact worth the victims life is in Reiryoku. It is then up to the Bount whether or not they will use one of the three feedings which is done through piercing the victim's skin with their mouth or various Vampir techniques. *Incomplete feeding - Early Time of Death & Normal Life *Complete Feeding - Normal Time of Death + Coma/Brain Dead *True Feeding - Immediate Death + Does not Reincarnate due to feeding.
Feeding Human Lifespan = Amount of Reiryoku gained from Feeding Every 10 Years = 1 E of Reiryoku
Proximity to ReishiProximity to Reishi is the latent ability of Fullbringers and Transbringers to siphon Negative Reishi from the environment in order to grow more powerful, this differs of course form the Quincy and Erzengal ability to harness Positive Reishi in order to empower themselves due to being unable to control or rather be aware of this siphoning. When in close proximity to beings comprised of Negative Reishi the same occurs as they gradually siphon off the victims's Reiryoku converting it into their own Reiryoku. It is this which leads most Fullbringers and Transbringers into conflict with Hollows however likewise it can cause them to hunt themselves as well due to the Reiryoku which comprises their bodies. However while the former is a passive uncontrollable thing, the latter is something which can be controlled and is called Power Transference which is the willing exchange of powers on both sides while another version is Power Stealing in which a stronger Fullbringer/Transbringer is capable of dominating and stealing the power of a weaker one either by sheer intimidation or by defeating them in battle. - Progression through this method:
Area Located/Type of Being nearby - Amount of Reiryoku gained Soul Society/Visored - 1 E of Reiryoku every 50 Posts (total) Valley of Screams/Arrancar - 1 E of Reiryoku every 40 Posts (total) Human World/Fullbringer - 1 E of Reiryoku every 30 Posts (total) Dangai/Hollow - 1 E of Reiryoku every 20 Posts (total) Hueco Mundo/Transbringer - 1 E of Reiryoku every 10 Posts (total) Hell - N/A
Distance away from other being to trigger Progression's effect Fullbringer (Base) - Within a 5ft radius -Imperfect - Within a 10ft radius -Perfect - Within a 15ft radius -True - Within a 20ft radius Transbringer (Base) - Within a 40ft radius -With Transbring - Within a 50ft radius -With Second Fullbring - Within a 60ft Radius -With Second & Third Fullbring - Within a 70ft Radius
*Note In the case of location versus type of being nearby it is primarily location except when the Reishi comprised being is within the set distance which is determined by the Fullbringer/Transbringer's progression.
Reishi EatingThe consumption of Reishi is perhaps the most spread around means of growing stronger however, it is only Hollow and Arrancar which change it into something of an art form. Rather than eat food produced in any dimensions other than the Human World, Dangai and Hell, they instead consume sentient beings. This voracious hunger is driven by an eternal and insatiable hunger to devour other souls, living or dead, to fill the void caused by its descent, said decent of course being the transformation from Plus into Hollow. The need to consume is etched into Hollow instinct as it is their means of survival, to grow stronger evolve and prevent regression after reaching a level of comparable strength. Any soul would do, however the stronger the Soul and the more Reiryoku it possesses the more the Hollow/Arrancar gains from it's consumption, likewise the level of a Hollow is inversely proportionate to their hunger after they have past the threshold of becoming a hollow through and through. The weakest hollows are the most voracious, while Gillian are a bit less however consume more souls in one sitting than a weaker hollow ever can, Adjuchas are less hungry but are driven by the need to continue eating lest they regress back into a Gillian permanently, finally Vasto Lorde rarely get hungry nor are they possessed by some urge to keep eating as during their transition the other Hollows within them were silenced. The one main drawback to all of this however is IF a hollow gets Even One Part of their body eaten past the Hollow stage their evolution ceases they neither regress nor can they progress through Reishi eating as a Hollow any further. Once they become Arrancar however they can continue to grow stronger however that which they missed out on if they did not become an Adjuchas or a Vasto Lorde before a part of them being eaten is forever lost to them. - Progression through this method:
Hollows and Arrancar gain through eating however what they eat and the nourishment it can provide for them diminishes the stronger they become, in addition the consumption of those on a lower level than they produces even less returns than eating those on the same level as them or those stronger than them. However due to increased difficulty most Hollow/Arrancar tend to go for a Quantity versus Quality method which is why Menos contain numerous souls within them whereas in actuality the number required is much less however it is typically very difficult to obtain it.
Type of Soul - Reiryoku Proportion Gained - Additional Modifier For Hollow Human - 1/16 - Applies to All Hollow Plus - 1/8 - Applies to All Hollow Bount/Fullbringer - 1/7 - Applies to all Hollow (Gillian +, Below that get 1/6) Shinigami/Blank - 1/6 - Applies to all Hollow (Gillian +, Below that get 1/7) Hollow - 1/5 - Applies to Hollow below Gillian (Gillian get 1/6, Adjuchas get 1/7, Vasto Lorde get 1/8) Gillian - 1/4 - Applies to Gillian (Hollow get 1/5, Adjuchas get 1/6, Vasto Lorde get 1/7) Adjuchas - 1/3 - Applies to Adjuchas (Hollow get full amount, Gillian get 1/2, Vasto Lorde get 1/4) Vasto Lorde - 1/2 - Applies to Adjuchas (Hollow get 2x amount, Gillian get full amount, Vasto Lorde get 1/3) Hollow Arrancar - 1 - Applies to Vasto Lorde (Hollow get 4x amount, Gillian get 3x Amount, Adjuchas get 2x amount) For Arrancar Hollow Arrancar & Below - 1/9 - Applies to All Arrancar Menos Arrancar - 1/8 - Applies to Gillian Arrancar (Adjuchas get 1/9, Vasto Lorde get 1/10) Vasto Lorde - 1/7 - Applies to Gillian Arrancar (Adjuchas get 1/8, Vasto Lorde get 1/9) Gillian Arrancar - 1/6 - Applies to Gillian Arrancar (Adjuchas get 1/7, Vasto Lorde get 1/8) Adjuchas Arrancar - 1/5 - Applies to Gillian Arrancar (Adjuchas get 1/6, Vasto Lorde get 1/7) Vasto Lorde Arrancar - 1/4 - Applies to Gillian Arrancar (Adjuchas get 1/5, Vasto Lorde get 1/6) Vizored - 1/4 - Applies to Gillian Arrancar (Adjuchas get 1/5, Vasto Lorde get 1/6) Transbringer - 1/3 - Applies to Gillian Arrancar (Adjuchas get 1/4, Vasto Lorde get 1/5)
In order to calculate this it's rather simple don't let the fractions scare you. Convert it to E or any other level (whichever is easier for you) then divide it by the fraction, any decimals .5 and below round down, .5 and above round up. Then add that to your characters own total.
For Example: a Gillian eats another Gillian, the First Gillian has 1 A of Reiryoku while the second one has 1 S and 1 A of Reiryoku. Convert it - Second Gillian Reiryoku = 1 S & 1 A = 12 C = 24 D = 48 E Divide it - First Gillian eats Second Gillian = 48/4 = 12 E Add it to own total - First Gillian new Reiryoku = 1 A & 12 E or 2 A & 1 B or 1 S & 1 B End Result - First Gillian now has 1 S & 1 B of Reiryoku.
Memory AssimilationBlanks and Zanpakuto Spirits are capable of assimilating the memories of those they use their Reishi manipulation abilities on in order to create a new personality in order to progress further. Blanks are empty, lacking memories or purpose and are completely emotionless upon initially being formed, as they assimilate more memories from other things they are capable of taking the fragments and joining them together to create new memories and thus create a new personality from the memory fragments they have assimilated. It is this formation of an identity which gives a Blank power and that power results in them having more Reiryoku as a direct result of this. Those Blanks which behave more like humans are stronger than the Blanks which don't, this does not mean that their are no stoic blanks rather it isn't just the expression of emotion or the capability of both empathy and apathy but rather the choice of whether or not to express these emotions which separate the weak Blanks from the strong ones. A Blank's desire to eventually regain their original memories it what motivates them to first seek a body, whether a Gigai or a freshly deceased corpse which serves as their host body. Once they have obtained that they are able to begin to assimilate memories and as the proceed the further they develop their new personality the more of their original memories start to return to them. - Progression through this method:
Age has something to do with the amount of memories available for a Blank to assimilate, as a result the longer one has been alive or existed the more viable they are a target for a Blank to consume. This is done through contact or through the use of Memoria techniques, victims who have had their memories absorbed by a Blank sustain amnesia however after sometime they regain them. The amount of time that needs to pass before these memories are regained depends on the amount of memories absorbed from a victim. However those living victims who first have their entire memories absorbed before they are then killed are turned into "hosts" which then serve as the Blanks permanent new body not aging nor needing nourishment or anything an actual living body would need to survive. In addition injuries sustained are capable of being healed only through Reiryoku as the body isn't actually alive and thus doesn't heal naturally however unless the Blank themselves are completely destroyed it is usually possible to eventually fully repair their host body. If the host originally had Reiryoku (wasn't a normal human) a certain percentage is added to the Blank upon possession of the dead corpse.
Assimilation of Memories Every 10 Years = 1 E of Reiryoku
Host Body-Reiryoku Gained Human = N/A Spiritually Aware Human = Full Amount Fullbringer(Base) = 1/8th Amount Quincy(Base) = 1/8th Amount Bount(Base) = 1/7th Amount Fullbringer(Imperfect) = 1/7th Amount Quincy(Soldat) = 1/7th Amount Bount(Viscount) = 1/6th Amount Fullbringer(Perfect) = 1/6th Amount Quincy(Jagdarmee) = 1/6th Amount Bount(Count) = 1/5th Amount Fullbringer(True) = 1/6th Amount Quincy(Sternritter) = 1/6th Amount Bount(Count) = 1/5th Amount Transbringer = 1/4th Amount Erzengal = 1/4th Amount Kokul = 1/3rd Amount

| Inner World & Its Relation to Progression & TranscendenceThe Inner World is one of the major means of Progression and is the core concept revolving around Transcendence. Each Sub-race has it's own means of doing such, except Quincy, Fullbringers and Transbringers, this is due to both using their latent power in order to fight rather than calling on the dormant power within their Souls similar to all the other Sub-Races. This of course changes in the case of Quincy when they become Erzengals. Due to the Inner World being wide-spread each Sub-Race has it's own version as well as own method of using this as a means to progress further. Shinigami & VisoredIt is not enough to simply know the name of one's Zanpakutō for a Shinigami to progress further. If a wielder were to lend its power to its Zanpakutō, the weapon would become stronger. To fully use a Zanpakutō's power, a wielder must get to know its Zanpakutō's spirit and must preform Jinzen This method is the only way to carry on a proper conversation with one's Zanpakutō. One places their sword over their lap, takes a meditative pose, and forces their mind to become one with the Zanpakutō. In this form, one can call out the true form of the powers of their Zanpakutō. It has been refined over thousands of years, since the beginning of Soul Society, to allow one to commune with their Zanpakutō. This advanced form of training is far different from attaining abilities by force. In this form, one enters a state of calm to enter the inner world of the Zanpakutō and engage them there. In this state, a wielder will have to fight their Zanpakutō spirit in order to attain access to new abilities. Unwilling to teach its owner these abilities, the Zanpakutō spirit engages its wielder in a battle. - Progression Through Jinzen (Shikai):
Attaining Shikai
In order to attain Shikai one must first communicate with the Zanpakuto and earn the right to not only know their Zanpakuto's name but also speak it. Likewise one needs a certain amount of power before they can even attempt this, with every Zanpakuto giving it's owner a test which may or may not involve fighting for this right.
In order to attain Shikai one must first have at least: Amount of Reiryoku = Expert (1 S Minimum)
Then they have the test for whether they have the right to say the name of their Zanpakuto and passing this test results in them receiving their zanpakuto's Kaigo or release incantation. Topic Length = 20-30 Posts (Total) Max *Exceeding it results in failure completing it to quickly results in an incomplete Kaigo thus reducing the power of the users Shikai. One must find a balance between the two.
- Progression through Jinzen (Bankai):
Attaining Bankai
In order to attain Bankai one must be able to materialize and subjugate their Zanpakutō spirit. Materialization means the opposite of getting dragged into the Zanpakutō's inner world: the wielder needs to summon the Zanpakutō's spirit into the physical world. It usually takes 10 years or more to achieve, plus the experience needed to master it. This is due to the Reiryoku needed to do such a thing being vast much more than the average shinigami has in their arsenal and while all Shinigami have the potential to do such, Bankai is seen as something only capable by the elite. However their exists a much shorter method however it is much more dangerous than the former, one is capable of accelerating the time they would need to attain Bankai to just 3 days. Allowing them to obtain it, while mastering it overtime and through repeated use due to forcibly manifesting their Zanpakuto spirit immediately rather than gradually getting into it.
Long Method One must have at least: Achieved Shikai Be a Vice-Captain Shinigami Amount of Reiryoku = Master (1 X Minimum)
They then are drawn into their Inner World in order to begin to Manifest their Zanpakuto Spirit. Requires: 1000 Word Training Topic
Which is followed by manifesting their Zanpakuto Spirit partially which then ceases and they are dragged even deeper into their Inner World in order to confront their Zanpakuto Spirit. They must then fight to dominate said spirit which has a time limit with every ten (10) posts causing the Zanpakuto Spirit to fight harder and harder. Time Limit = 50 Posts (Total) *If the Time Limit is exceeded or they are beaten 1 of 3 things happen however none result in the wielders death and all are the result of a dice roll; 1. They are ejected from their Inner World and may try again after doubling their Reiryoku. 2. They are ejected from their Inner World and may try again at any time however should they fail once more they will forever be unable to utilize their Bankai. 3. They are ejected from their Inner World are the Zanpakuto leads them to believe that they have indeed passed giving them a much weaker version of their Actual Bankai which while more powerful than their Shikai is a pale representation of it's true power (2x Overall Reiryoku Multiplier instead of 3, 1x Overall Reiryoku Multiplier if Kaigo chant is bypassed).
Short Method One Must have at least: Achieved Shikai Be a Seated Shinigami Amount of Reiryoku = Expert (1 S Minimum)
Rather than having to draw their Zanpakuto Spirit out it is forcibly dragged out on it's own allowing them to completely skip the first part and immediately go into the second phase. The time-limit remains the same however due to being a physical manifestation injuries sustained can actually result in the Shinigami's death assuming the Zanpakuto spirit doesn't end up killing them. Similar to the Long Version their is a time limit and every 10 posts (total) the Zanpakuto Spirit fights harder and harder. Time Limit: 40 Posts (total) *If the Time Limit is exceeded 1 of 4 things happen however only 1 directly results in the wielders death and all are the result of a dice roll; 1. They are killed due to the Zanpakuto Spirit defeating them in combat. 2. They are ejected from their Inner World and are forever barred from obtaining Bankai 3. They are ejected from their Inner World and may try again after doubling their Reiryoku however if they fail again unlike the long version (which it is possible to potentially be allowed to try again over and over) if this is chosen the next time will result in either the first or second option. 4. They are ejected from their Inner World and may try again at any time however they can only use the Long Version to obtain their Bankai and upon doing such and failing yet again can only receive the 2 & 3 options.
- Zero Division Training Regiment:
Above Captain Level
Captains are capable of undergoing the Zero Division Training Regiment in order to increase their power and skills at the cost of losing the ability to Transcend. However to most this isn't a problem considering they would rather remain a pure Shinigami than be tainted by the Reishi of a Hollow.
Requirements to undergo Zero Division Training Regiment: Have Undergone 3 Progressions (Be a Captain Class Shinigami) Obtained Bankai Amount of Reiryoku = Master (1 X Minimum)
The Training Regiment requires a 1500 Word Training Topic.
*Completion of the Zero Division Training Regiment Doubles the Captain's Current Reiryoku however they are no longer allowed to Transcend into becoming a Visored. *They Also Gain +1 Transcendent, +2 Master, +3 Expert & +4 Adept Level Techniques. *Their Speed Tier Cap is raised to Expert
With Visored however it is a bit different, as they all possess an inner hollow within them and in order to obtain mastery of Hollowification and their Hollow Mask they must first dominate it in battle. This must be done twice, the first being to prevent them from turning completely into a Hollow, while the second time is to obtain Fukkatsu. Other than that every now and then or more specifically every time one doubles their Overall Reiryoku Pool (excludes boosts via releases) after mastering their inner hollow they are challenged to a new fight as the inner hollow always wants to eventually come out on top and change the Visored into a pure hollow. - Progression through Inner Hollow (Mask):
Mastering Hollow Mask
To begin one must first have at least: 2 Progressions (Either be a Vice Captain or Captain level Shinigami)
This triggers the battle between the Inner Hollow and the Shinigami which causes them to become unconscious the Inner Hollow causing the Shinigami's body to likewise begin to transform into an actual Hollow. If this is not done in a prepared area however, the Hollow will rage out of control and seek to devour Souls, if even 1 Soul is devoured as a Hollow the Shinigami will be unable to regain control and will become a Hollow. While in the inner World the Shinigami must fight their Hollow who is a reflection of themselves having all their abilities, strengths and weaknesses. This battle is fought until the Shinigami is able to win and has no "time-limit" per say however the longer it takes the more effort whomever is containing the Hollow on the outside has to put forth.
Mask Battle Time Limit = 1 Posts + *Every 10 Posts the Hollow within them gains more control and likewise becomes stronger based on converting the Positive Reishi comprising their body into Negative Reishi. This is done in increments of 1/10 of their total meaning after 100 Posts (Total) their entire Reiryoku pool will consist of Negative Reishi effectively making them a Hollow and leaving them with no Shinigami powers.
*Both the Inner Hollow and the Shinigami have Half of their Total Reiryoku during their fight every 10 posts (Total) even if it is not used the Shinigami's Reiryoku is lowered by 1/10 and then added into the Inner Hollow's pool. However this can be circumvented by using more Reiryoku causing the reduction to simply be the max amount currently available to the Shinigami rather than what they have currently. Likewise if they are conserving their Reiryoku it simply means more will end up being the Inner Hollows to use.
Dependent on the time it takes them to win against their Inner Hollow is the amount of time initially available to them when donning their hollow mask, divided by an amount dependent on their level of progression. Whereas the number of posts it takes them over all is their max limit that they can remain in their hollowifed form. Progression Level - Total Time Limit Divided by Seated - N/A Vice-Captain - 1/4 Captain - 1/2
For Example: A Captain takes 80 posts (total) to subdue their hollow, as a result the starting time limit of them donning their hollow mask is 40 posts (total) whereas their max limit is 80 posts (total).
- Progression through Inner Hollow (Fukkatsu):
Mastering Fukkatsu
Fukkatsu is essentially the second level of donning one's Hollow Mask as a Visored and involves the evolution of their mask into something more. While all Visored have the potential to obtain it is the manner of triggering it that is difficult as it has requirements.
To begin one must first have at least: 3 Progressions (Be a Captain level Shinigami)
This to attain Fukkatsu is to have one's body jacked by their Inner Hollow after they have spent time in proximity to Negative Reishi which is only capable for Visored in two two locations Hueco Mundo or the Dangai. It is also capable for Visored who have spend time in close proximity to beings comprised of Negative Reishi. This absorption is passive and latent something which occurs with all Visored in fact most do not even know Fukkatsu exists until they have either attained it themselves or have seen or heard of it.
Area Located - Amount of Reiryoku gained Dangai - 1 E of Reiryoku every 20 posts (total) Hueco Mundo - 1 E of Reiryoku every 10 posts (total)
In order to unlock it simply requires one to equal the amount of Reiryoku they possessed upon attaining Transcendence via this method that is all. However one doesn't start from scratch rather the amount of Reiryoku one's Inner Hollow gained overall during their Mask Battle is where one starts at. This makes Fukkatsu obscure yet easy to obtain somewhat in comparison to the mask battle. However unlike the Hollow Mask Fukkatsu is incapable of being fully controlled and will harm anyone which gets in the way of it's purpose which is chosen right before activating it.
*Fukkatsu's time limit is half the max amount of time the Visored can maintain their Hollow Mask, however if the Visored has not yet obtained their max time-limit then it is half of the current time limit their can maintain their Hollow Mask.
Bount & KukolThe Relationship between a Doll and it's master is complex, as a result while a Bount may possess a Doll they are unable to reach their full power without first manifesting it. However a Doll will never obey a master that is weaker than it even while it is a Baby and will kill a weak master. As a result the process for subjugating one's doll is very risky however due to a Bount's Doll possessing the bulk of their stronger abilities it is necessary to do such. - Progression through Doll Subjugation (Zeige Dich):
Mastering a Baby Doll
While a Bount absorbs living souls their Doll gradually matures as the Bount refine the life energy from the souls and using it to increase their Reiryoku. However every Bount has their own latent Reiryoku which is what gives rise to a Doll in the first place. In order to gain access to it, one must first materialize their doll by saying "Zeige Dich" which triggers the fight between one's Doll and it's Master.
In order to master Zeige Dich one must have at least: Amount of Reiryoku = Expert (1 S Minimum)
This begins the fight between them and their Doll which does not end until either of them submits the aim of course is to beat their Doll to the point that they are forced to reseal themselves. The Doll in this battle doesn't utilize any of it's own techniques instead it utilizes a combination of physical prowess and the Bount's own techniques in order to give it's master a challenge, preferring to beat it's master at his/her own game so to speak.
Baby Doll Battle Time Limit - Unlimited
*If one is able to subjugate their Doll they are now able to Release their Doll at any time as they have master Zeige Dich, if they fail however it results in the Bount's death via their own Doll. *Upon subjugating their doll the Bount is officially ranked up from Viscount to Count.
- Progression through Doll Subjugation (Pokazat' Seubya):
Mastering an Adult Doll
In comparison with it's state as a Baby, Adult Dolls are much more willful and content with their abilities, and will absolutely refuse to show their true power until their master proves that they are capable of handling them. Similar to the original challenge one is able to take the test however it is much harsher than the former due to the Bount and their Doll being stronger than before. In order to initiate this one must first materialize their Adult Doll by saying "Pokazat' Seubya" which begins the fight to subjugate it.
In order to master Pokazat' Seubya one must have at least: Mastered Zeige Dich Be a Viscount Amount of Reiryoku = Master (1 X Minimum)
This results in the Bount having to endure two battles, the first being with their Doll as a Baby with the Doll only utilizing it's abilities while the Bount is unable to utilize any of their Doll's abilities. Like the former it doesn't have any time limit however upon it's conclusion the Doll transforms into it's adult state and uses it's owners abilities in combination with it's abilities as a Doll while the owner is only able to utilize their own abilities being unable to utilize any of their Dolls abilities at all. There is no break from the first fight and the second fight, likewise the Bount's Reiryoku is mirrored by their Doll and when the second fight occurs the owners Reiryoku is replenished however their Doll's is not.
Adult Doll Battle 1st Part Time Limit - Unlimited Bount Reiryoku - Full Baby Doll Reiryoku - Full
2nd Part Time Limit - Unlimited Bount Reiryoku - Full Adult Doll Reiryoku - Remaining Reiryoku from First Part
*If one is able to subjugate their Doll they are now able to Release their Doll at any time as they have mastered Pokazat Seubya, if they fail however it results in the Bount's death via their own Doll. *Once mastering Pokazat Seubya the Bount is officially ranked up to Czar.
Kukol is different however, as rather than attempt to Subjugate their Doll they are on much better terms with it and both wish to to become stronger together through increased Synchronization. Unlike a normal Bount their Doll has it's own Reiryoku which is equal to the Kukol's Reiryoku upon Transcending however it is not available to them until they manage to synchronize with their Doll further. Due to being two separate Reiryoku pools it is possible to increase one's Doll's Reiryoku or the Kukols own Reiryoku separately, neglect one in favor of the other and vice versa. While Kukol's Reiryoku increases naturally through Vampir, their Dolls increase naturally through the use of Bitto. - Progression through Doll Syncronization (Nezhit'):
Obtaining Nezhit'
To begin one must first have at least: 2 Progressions (Either be a Viscount or Czar)
The first means of Synchronization is through fusing with their Doll, this is called Nezhit' and is a permanent fusion of both the Kukol and their Doll. However in order to do this the Kukol is pulled into their Doll's inner world in order to view their true state. -Requires a 2000 Word Training session
*Once Complete they have attained Nezhit' and are able to utilize their own abilities as well as their Doll's abilities in whichever stage they have attained before Transcending. In addition they have a permanent increase of their Reiryoku by the amount their Doll possessed as they are one with it.
- Progression through Doll Syncronization (D'yavel):
Obtaining a D'yavel
Once Nezhit' has been achieved the Kukol loses their Doll, as a result they are capable of manifesting a new one to replace their original Doll which is now a part of them. This fusion results in an altering of their Soul as they are complete, yet incomplete, the need to produce a Doll drives them to produce a D'yavel which essentially is a Baby Doll however it is much more violent and unwilling to obey than their original Doll was.
To begin one must first have at least: 3 Progressions (Be a Czar level Bount)
The Process is identical to a Normal Bount Subjugating their Baby and Adult D'yavel however now their is a time limit and the D'yavel will only use the original Doll's abilities in the Second Fight of the Adult Battle.
Baby D'yavel Fight 40 Posts (Total)
Adult D'yavel Fight First Fight - 40 Posts (Total) Second Fight - Remaining time from first fight.
*If the Kukol fails either similar to how it was before it Transcended it results in their Death. However that only applies to the Adult D'yavel Fight, if it is the former rather than kill them the D'yavel will simply stop progressing remaining a Baby D'yavel forever.
*If the Kukol wins however they will be able to utilize the Zeich Dich and Pokazat' Seubya of their D'yavel.
Hollow & ArrancarHollows, rather Gillian and beyond hollows are filled with the Souls of their victims as well as other Hollows that they have eaten. These Souls don't disappear instead they constantly chatter in a Hollow's head at random times with only the constant consumption of Souls causing the chattering to dim. When all the voices speak as one it is known as being a Gillian. In order to become the Dominant personality and gain control over the Gillian's body a hollow must first defeat all the other hollows within their body without being defeated in turn. Throughout their progression hollows will need to go on what is known as Feeding Topics to eat and increase their reiryoku as well as progress. - Feeding Topics:
Feeding topics are fairly simple topics that will be modded by a staff member. In these topics you will be presented with challenges to defeat and then feast upon in a lovely Hollow manner. ALL feeding topics will have a minimum post count of 20 posts.
In order to Evolve into a Gillian one must first have at least: Amount of Reiryoku = Adept (1 A Minimum) Feeding Topics Completed = 1 500 Word training to go through transformation. This is merely the first step in evolving into a higher state and the initial challenge is what changes the Gillian's Mask into being unique. - Progression through Hollow Evolution (Adjuchas):
Becoming an Adjuchas
The first Step is defeating the Hollows within their body. This means in essence that while one is a normal mindless Gillian, they enter their inner world which has all the other Hollows they have eaten or in the case of a Hollow which has been eaten by a Gillian, all the other fellow hollows which had the misfortune of being eaten. In order to achieve Dominance a hollow must dominate the others by defeating them all in an all out battle to determine which hollow will become the dominant one.
Unique Mask Dominance Battle Time Limit - Unlimited PC Hollow - Full Reiryoku (Uses Current Amount before becoming Gillian) Npc Hollows - Full Reiryoku (Uses Amount when they were eaten) Other PC Hollows/Souls - Full Reiryoku (Uses Amount when they were eaten)
*The Battle is not team based, it is free for all with Hollows only teaming up with other hollows for the moment in order to stab each other in the back later after more dangerous stronger Hollows are dealt with. The Inner World of a Menos is vast and unpredictable with the Hollow who is attempting to evolve only benefiting in being able to initially generate the terrain of the Inner World.
*The Battle only ends after all of the other Hollows have been killed, and the last one standing becomes the Dominant personality of the Gillian and thus will trigger the warping of the Gillian's mask into a Unique masked Gillian.
Once that has occurred the Unique Masked Gillian is free to do what they wish, which means eating other Gillian in order to further evolve lest they lose their newly acquired dominance over the other Hollows within the Gillian's body. If the hollow fails the battle the first time, they must fight for supremacy yet again with the Hollows they fought reappearing and of course, knowing of their abilities as long as they used them in the fight if they were present to see them. In addition if they back-stabbed other Hollows those Hollows will remember and thus the second bout is harder than the first to win.
In order to Evolve into a Adjuchas one must first have at least: Amount of Reiryoku = Expert (1 S Minimum) Feeding Topics Completed: 3 (total)
This then triggers a forced evolution in which the Reiryoku explodes outward around the Gillian while the Dominant Hollow does battle with the old group of hollows including a new amount of Hollows from the additional meals it made out of it's fellow Gillian. Unlike before there is a time limit, and likewise unlike before it isn't a battle it is survival as all the Hollows will now understand what the Dominant Hollow is trying to accomplish and will work in tandem (Sometimes..they are hollows after all) to bring the Dominant Hollow down.
Adjuchas Transformation Battle Time Limit = 40 Posts (Total) PC Hollow - Full Reiryoku (Uses Current Amount before attempting to become Adjuchas) Npc Hollows - Full Reiryoku (Uses Amount when they were eaten) Other PC Hollows/Souls - Full Reiryoku (Uses Amount when they were eaten)
- Progression through Hollow Evolution (Vasto Lorde):
* If even one part, even if it is a tiny part of them whether it's hair, nails, a finger, whatever if it is eaten by another Hollow they cease being able to evolve further. Note this only applies to attached body parts as a result one might be faced with the option of either severing a body part rather than have it be eaten while attached to the Hollow. Often if they are capable of doing so many hollow would sever their own body rather than let it be the result of causing them to be unable to evolve further.
In order to Evolve into a Vasto Lorde one must first have at least: Amount of Reiryoku = Master (1 X Minimum)
Once that is done the next step occurs which causes the Adjuchas to become sick, something which is very rare for Hollows. This sickness causes their tiers to drop by 2-ranks while everything else remains constant, likewise during this sickness their hunger is reduced, with the whispers only happening occasionally. The Adjuchas must then complete new "feeding topics" where instead of feeding, they will be being attacked by other hollow trying to take advantage of it's sickness. During this most Adjuchas eventually succumb to the sickness or die to hollows however those that manage to survive the Sickness are able to evolve into a Vasto Lorde. Bringing them into their Inner World. In here the hollows/souls that they have eaten in their life-span days, are all present and a final free for all battle occurs in which rather than defeating the other hollows the Dominant Hollow must defeat and then proceed to eat the hollows within their Inner World. This of course has a time-limit and the Hollows within their body are capable of eating each other in order to gain more Reiryoku as well.
Vasto-Lorde Transformation Battle Time Limit = 50 Posts (Total) PC Hollow - Full Reiryoku (Uses Current Amount before attempting to become Vasto Lorde) Npc Hollows - Full Reiryoku (Uses Amount when they were eaten) Other PC Hollows/Souls - Full Reiryoku (Uses Amount when they were eaten)
*While eating other Hollows the PC Hollow gains Reiryoku as if they were eating the Hollows in actuality, the same goes for the Npc Hollows and any other Souls/PC Hollows that they encounter within their Inner World.
*IF they are not successful they regress back into an Adjuchas and are unable to evolve further, however they are still capable of Regressing back into a Gillian if they do not continue eating.
Arrancar are a bit different, mainly due to the lack of needing to eat as well as the lack of voices which echo in an Arrancar's head. This is because during the process of Shinigamification an Arrancar rips off their mask and in the process the whispers cease completely instead being compressed into the Arrancar's new Zanpakuto. In addition when one Transcends into an Arrancar they are given a 1 time choice either they keep their Rapid Regeneration or they can Double their Overall Max Reiryoku Pool. Once the Choice has been made it can not be taken back. - Progression through Sealed Power (Ressureccion):
Mastering Ressureccion
To begin one must first have at least: 2 Progressions (Either be a Adjuchas or Vasto Lorde)
In order to Trigger this the Arrancar rips off their mask however while doing so they are brought into their inner world where they are forced to battle themselves before transcending to become an Arrancar. This battle is between the Arrancar and their Hollow in order to regain access to their original power. During the battle however the Arrancar does not have access to any of their Hollow Abilities but rather is forced to utilize their newly gained Arrancar abilities in order to defeat their past self within the time limit.
Ressureccion Battle Time Limit = 40 Posts (Total) Arrancar = Full Reiryoku (Current) Hollow = Full Reiryoku (Pre-Transcendence)
*If the time limit runs out the entire mask is ripped off causing the Hollow excruciating pain and halving their Overall Max Reiryoku Pool, in addition while they don't regress and the mask eventually reforms they are drastically weakened by it however may once again try to achieve Ressureccion.
*If the inner hollow wins they are forcibly ejected out of their Inner World however three options occur all which require a Dice Roll: 1. They are allowed to try again after doubling their Reiryoku 2. They are allowed to try again at any time however upon doing so again and failing they will be unable to ever utilize Ressureccion. 3. They are gifted with a partial Ressureccion which results in part of their mask breaking however it pales in comparison to their true release. (Doubles (2x) Overall Reiryoku Pool instead of Tripling (3x) it like a true Ressureccion would.)
- Progression through Sealed Power (Segunda Etapa):
Mastering Segunda Etapa
Segunda Etapa is the second level of utilizing Ressureccion and is said to be the release of a Vasto Lorde and is thus far more powerful than the release of a common Adjuchas. Due to the difficulty in Hollows surviving the transformation into a Vasto Lorde it is rare than an Arrancar possessing this release arises.
To begin one must first have at least: 3 Progressions (Be a Vasto Lorde)
The Arrancar is drawn into their inner world where they must face themselves from the beginning until right before the current. Meaning in essence, from their initial transition into a Hollow, then as a Gillian, then an Adjuchas, then a Vasto Lorde, ending by facing themselves as an Arrancar. Each battle has a time limit with the completion of each battle resulting in the Arrancar eating their past self in order to replenish their Reiryoku by the exact amount they possessed in that state of evolution.
Segunda Etapa Battle 1st Battle Time Limit = 60 Posts (Total) 2nd Battle Time Limit = Remaining Time from 1st Battle 3rd Battle Time Limit = Remaining Time from 2nd Battle 4th Battle Time Limit = Remaining Time from 3rd Battle Final Battle Time Limit = Remaining Time from 4th Battle. PC Arrancar = Full Reiryoku (Current) Hollow = Full Reiryoku (Pre-evolution to Gillian) Unique Mask Gillian = Full Reiryoku (Pre-evolution to Adjuchas) Adjuchas = Full Reiryoku (Pre-evolution to Vasto Lorde without sickness) Vasto Lorde = Full Reiryoku (Pre-trancendence to Arrancar) Arrancar = Full Reiryoku (Pre Mastery of Ressureccion)
*If the time Limit Runs out the Arrancar is able to try once again after they have doubled their Reiryoku.
*If they are defeated, they lose the ability to ever learn how to utilize Segunda Etapa
ErzengelErzengel are unique in that their progression revolves around control rather than Reiryoku amount as part of the requirements in order to obtain their additional releases. Both Releases require differing amounts however both draw the Quincy in their inner world for them to meditate and understand the Reiryoku flowing through their body. - Progression Through Inner Meditation (Herrschaft):
Obtain Herrschaft
Herrscaft is a release which empowers the Erzengal's ability to manipulate their Blüt & Geblüt requiring utmost control of their Reiryoku and concentration.
To begin one must first have at least: 2 Progressions (Either be a Jagdarmee or Sternritter level Quincy) Reiryoku Control = Master Level Reiryoku Amount = Expert Level (1 S Minimum)
After completing a 2000 Word Training Topic the Erzengel will obtain Herrschaft.
*While Herrschaft is active one is incapable of utilizing Vollstandig and vice versa.
- Progression Through Inner Meditation (Aufstieg):
Obtain Aufstieg
Aufstieg is a release which empowers the Erzengel's ability to manipulate their Blüt & Geblüt while simultaneously boosting their ability to harness the latent Reishi in the environment similar to Vollstadig however it is the ability to utilize both at the same time which makes Aufsteig something to be feared.
To begin one must first have at least: 3 Progressions (Be a Sternritter level Quincy) Reiryoku Control = Transcendent Level Reiryoku Amount = Master Level (1 X Minimum)
After completing a 4000 Word Training Topic the Erzengel will obtain Aufstieg.
*Once Aufstieg is active the Erzengel is now able to activate both Vollstandig and Herrchaft as both are required to be active simultaneously in order to activate Aufstieg.
Blank & Zanpakuto SpiritBlanks have an inner world which is comprised of the memories they assimilate from others the more memories fragments they assimilate the more complex an individual they become. However in order to progress they must delve into their mind and relive these memories before completely assimilating them and personalizing them in order to contribute to their personality. - Progression through Memory Incorporation (Gikon):
Becoming a Gikon
Blanks require a certain amount of memories to be assimilated before they are able to delve into their mind and relive them in order to incorporate them into formulating their new personality. Until this is done however the Blank is utterly emotionless and behaves in an almost robotic fashion with it's prime purpose being to assimilate more memories.
To begin one must first have at least: Amount of Reiryoku = Adept (1 A Minimum)
The Blank then delves into their mind where they proceed to relive their encounters with those that they assimilated memories from in the perspective of the victim rather than themselves. The object of course is to survive as long as they can before eventually the memory is incorporated. This occurs 5 times with each time being chosen from the most recent memories assimilated. After this occurs, dependent on the time it took them to survive they then must hunt down either a Gigai or attack a living human to assimilate their memories before killing them in order to turn their corpse into their new host body.
Memory Reliving Time Limit = Min 5 Posts (total) Per Encounter Time Limit to Obtain Gigai or kill a living Human in new topic = Each Encounter survival time added together. PC Blank = Full Reiryoku (Equal to amount he/she had during each memory) Memory Victim = Full Reiryoku (Amount possessed when memory was assimilated.
*If they do not survive for the bare minimum of posts needed to transition into the next encounter or they fail one of them, the Blank's Reiryoku is halved and they are ejected out of their mindscape. However they may try again each time they fail the same penalty occurs until they reach a Basic amount of Reiryoku (1 E max) which causes them to become a Plus once more however they are no longer able to gain Reiryoku to become a Blank, Shinigami or even by becoming a Hollow making them essentially Fodder.
- Progression through Memory Incorporation (Mod-Soul):
Becoming a Mod-Soul *Note if forced to become a Gikon by a R&D Shinigami a Blank is unable to progress further.
Gikon have very basic personalities this is a result of them not yet incorporating enough memories to truly form a personality but rather merely imitating what they have been able to learn from what they assimilated. Gikon are very one-dimensional and simplistic and it is due to this that they are likewise driven similar to Blanks to assimilate more memories in order to become complete.
To begin one must first have at least: Have Progressed at least Once without being forced by Shinigami (Are a Gikon) Amount of Reiryoku = Expert (1 S Minimum)
The Gikon then delves into their mind where they proceed to relive their encounters with those that they assimilated memories from in the perspective of the victim rather than themselves. The object of course is to survive as long as they can before eventually the memory is incorporated. This occurs 5 times with each time being chosen from the most dangerous memories assimilated in relation to the Blank either being injured, coming close to death or in the absence of that hunts which were more difficult due to varying factors, such as elusive prey, nearby enemies etc. Once this is done the Gikon then is transformed into a Mod Soul.
Memory Reliving Time Limit = Survive at least 10 Posts (total) Per Encounter PC Blank = Full Reiryoku (Equal to amount he/she had during each memory) Memory Victim = Full Reiryoku (Amount possessed when memory was assimilated.
*If they do not survive for the bare minimum of posts needed to transition into the next encounter or they fail one of them, the Gikon's Reiryoku is halved and they are ejected out of their mindscape. However they may try again each time they fail the same penalty occurs until they reach an Adept amount of Reiryoku (1 A max) which causes them to be stuck as a Gikon unable to progress further.
- Progression through Memory Incorporation (Variant Mod-Soul):
Becoming a Variant Mod-Soul *Note if forced to become a Mod-Soul by a R&D Shinigami a Blank is unable to progress further.
Mod Souls are more independent and have more depth to them as they are they are essentially when a Blank has incorporated enough from assimilated memories to piece together their own personality. However upon doing such they begin to get associated feelings near certain things or individuals which are reminiscent of their old life. As a result this curiosity compels them to delve into their mind to seek these feelings and figure out exactly what they mean in order to regain the memories which they lost.
To begin one must first have at least: Have Progressed at least Twice without being forced by Shinigami (Are a Mod-Soul) Amount of Reiryoku = Master (1 X Minimum)
The Mod-Soul then delves into their life dependent on if they obtained a Gigai or are using a host body they have two different sets of memories. Gigai Path: Relive one's own entire day of death over again. Host Body Path: Relive the victims entire day of death from their perspective. In both instances the object is once again to survive however in this case the object is not to survive for a certain time but rather to survive longer than either you originally did, or the body you are currently occupying did before dying. The events will proceed exactly how they originally progressed until the PC either does something radically different (I.e Decides to walk to school instead of taking the bus when they died from the bus getting into a car accident due to a Hollow) or exceeds the initial time that they were supposed to die by (Pc should of died on the 17th post and instead lives, events get progressively worse until they are killed.)
Memory Reliving Time Limit = Survive Longer than original time of death. PC Blank = Full Reiryoku (Equal to amount he/she had during memory) Memory Victim = Full Reiryoku (Amount possessed when memory was assimilated.) Whatever killed Blank as a Human = Full Reiryoku (Amount possessed when Blank was originally killed)
*If they do not survive for the bare minimum of posts needed to transition into the next encounter or they fail one of them, the Mod-Souls's Reiryoku is halved and they are ejected out of their mindscape. However they may try again each time they fail the same penalty occurs until they reach an Expert amount of Reiryoku (1 S max) which causes them to be stuck as a Mod-Soul unable to progress further.
Zanpakuto Spirits however are much different as a result of regaining their old memories and fusing that with the memories that they assimilated to further change their personality. The fusing of the two results in their new personality and the memories they assimilated become altered with the Zanpakuto Spirit instead considering those memories to be their own giving the impression that they have done multiple things while in actuality it is merely them having incorporated so many memories that those memories are now a part of them. - Progression through Confronting the Past:
Obtaining Shikai
To begin one must first have at least: Have Progressed at least Twice without being forced by Shinigami (Either are a Mod-Soul or Variant Mod Soul) Amount of Reiryoku = Expert (1 S Minimum)
The Zanpakuto Spirit first must delve into their mind in order to relive their life since becoming a Blank up until this point. *Requires a 1000 Word Training Topic.
Once that is done however he/she will see a reflection of his/herself before transcending into a Zanpakuto Spirit and must confront and defeat their past in order to proceed to live in the present. This must be done within a time limit.
Past Self Battle Time Limit = 40 Posts (Total) PC Zanpakuto Spirit = Half Reiryoku (Current) PC Blank = Full Reiryoku (Amount present before transcending)
*If They are defeated by their past or run out of time to do such, the Zanpakuto Spirit's Reiryoku is halved and they are ejected out of their mindscape. However they may try again each time they fail the same penalty occurs until they reach an Adept amount of Reiryoku (1 A max) which causes them to be unable to ever gain their Shikai.
- Progression through Confronting the Past:
Obtaining Bankai
Zanpakuto Spirits who are attempting to obtain their Bankai have regained their memory from when they were alive and have managed to separate the memories which they incorporated from their actual memories. Instead in addition to having a complete personality which is the composite of their original personality as a Human as well as their gained personality as a Variant Mod-Soul, they now have access to their memories during their time as a Blank. Essentially remembering they did as a Blank while in their own perspective something they lacked previously.
To begin one must first have at least: Have Progressed at least Three times without being forced by Shinigami (Are a Variant Mod Soul) Amount of Reiryoku = Master (1 X Minimum)
Once that is done however they will see a reflection of themselves before transcending into a Zanpakuto Spirit as well as upon gaining Shikai and must confront and defeat their past and present at the same time in order to proceed to exist in the future. This must be done within a time limit.
Past Self Battle Time Limit = 50 Posts (Total) PC Zanpakuto Spirit = Full Reiryoku (Current) PC Blank = Full Reiryoku (Amount present before transcending) PC Zanpakuto Spirit = (Amount present before obtaining Shikai)
*If They are defeated by their past &/or present or run out of time to do such, the Zanpakuto Spirit's Reiryoku is halved and they are ejected out of their mindscape. However they may try again each time they fail the same penalty occurs until they reach an Expert amount of Reiryoku (1 S max) which causes them to be unable to ever gain their Bankai.

| TrainingTraining on this site is intertwined with Progression however at the same time is separate from it, there are 5 types of training on the site each having their own time-period in which they may be trained as well as the various things associated with them. These are In-Battle, Daily, Group, Weekly and finally Progression Training, there respective time frames are listed below: In-Battle = IC within a Characters current topic. Daily = IC Liquid Time, Once Per Day Group = IC Liquid Time, Once Per Day if topic extends past a day no additional ones may be made until it is complete. Weekly = IC Liquid Time, Once Per Week Progression = IC within a Characters current topic no other form of training can be done during this. Daily TrainingThis is the solitary training of a character in order to improve their skills. Solo training is achieved by making a single post of a certain word count which gives an chronological account of the character attempting to learn and eventually gain use of whatever skill they are attempting to attain. Characters can solo train ONCE every day (OOC Time) and upon using up their training for the day they have to wait till the next day to train again. There are Three Things which can be gained from using Daily Training. Each consumes the Daily Training per day, meaning a character can either train to Increase their Reiryoku OR Increase their Reiryoku Control OR Learn a new technique. In addition it is possible to "Bulk" Train. Which involves making a larger post and listing out what you are training before doing the Word Count for them all at once, to train multiple times all at once. Doing this however consumes a day for every thing training and you won't be able to Solo train until that time passes. E.g Trained Reiryoku 3 times, Trained Reiryoku control 2 Times, Learnt 2 techniques. Unable to Solo Train for 7 Days. Increasing Reiryoku*Explained in Detail in the Above Post. Learning TechniquesSimply refers to learning techniques every Progression has a limited amount of techniques they are able to learn. However training for these techniques follow the following word counts: - Spoiler:
Basic requires 100 words. Novice requires 200 words. Apprentice requires 400 words. Adept requires 600 words. Expert requires 800 words. Master requires 1000 words. Transcendent requires 1500 words Primordial requires 2000 Words
- Progressions & The Amount of Techniques they can learn Total:
Initial - 1 Apprentice, 2 Novice, 3 Basic Base - 1 Adept, 2 Apprentice, 3 Novice, 7 Basic First Progression - 1 Expert, 2 Adept, 3 Apprentice, 5 Novice, 9 Basic Second Progression - 1 Master, 2 Expert, 3 Adept, 4 Apprentice, 7 Novice, 11 Basic Third Progression - 1 Transcendent, 2 Master, 3 Expert, 4 Adept, 5 Apprentice, 9 Novice, 13 Basic Transcendence - 1 Primordial, 2 Transcendent, 3 Master, 4 Expert, 5 Adept, 7 Apprentice, 10 Novice, 15 Basic Leader of Organization - 1 Primordial, 3 Transcendent, 4 Master, 5 Expert, 6 Adept, 7 Apprentice, 10 Novice, 15 Basic Zero Division Training Regiment - + 1 Transcendent, +1 Master, +2 Expert, +2 Adept, +3 Apprentice, +3 Novice, +4 Basic
Optional Reiryoku Control How to initially train Reiryoku Control is explained in detail in the above post. It is split into Advanced Reiryoku Control and Reiryoku Control Refinement. Advanced Reiryoku ControlIt is possible to further improve ones control for those who favor control over their Reiryoku rather than just raw amounts of it. Just like Reiryoku Control it is based on one's amount of Reiryoku the larger it is the harder it is to refine it. In this case when one gains more Reiryoku it causes all the Refined Control to either go down a level or in the case of extreme increases can actually cause one's refinement to completely RESET back down to the base. Every time a character gains a certain rank amount of Reiryoku according to the current Progression one is in, that character's Advanced Reiryoku is lowered by 1-rank and must be retrained again to get the rank back. In addition if multiples are gained it is lowered multiple times. Their Reiryoku Control completely resets however if their max Reiryoku doubles or increases by at least a Primordial amount (1 Z-rank). (This excludes Releases but applies to Zero Division Training Regiments and Progressions) Training Advanced Reiryoku Control- Spoiler:
Basic - 100 Words Novice - 200 Words Apprentice - 400 Words Adept - 600 Words Expert - 800 Words Master - 1000 Words Transcendent - 2000 Words

Advanced Reiryoku Control is needed to fine tune one's Reishi Manipulation, for everyone else this merely results in one's speed type requiring 1-rank less Reiryoku to trigger it however for Quincy, and Erzengel it affects the speed at which they are able to draw in Reishi to utilize Heiling Pfeil. Kido users also may or may not use this due to it working to speed up the incantation time for Kido. Rank of Control - Speed of Drawing in Reishi (Quincy/Erzengel) - Incantation Time Lowered by (Kido)- Spoiler:
Basic - Basic - 1 Post (Total) Novice - Novice - 2 Posts (Total) Apprentice - Apprentice - 3 Posts (Total) Adept - Adept - 4 Posts (Total) Expert - Expert - 5 Posts (Total) Master - Master - 6 Posts (Total) Transcendent - Transcendent - 7 Posts (total)
Reiryoku Control RefinementReiryoku Control Refinement works based Progressions like everything else. A Character is able to Specialize in a particular style of technique, and that is what their Refinement will work on. This is called a Refinement Slot, as they progress further they gain more Refinement Slots however if they transcend they immediately get all the slots that would be available to them if they took the long route instead. Characters can only Specialize in techniques which are available to them. The Styles of Techniques Available for Refinement are: - Spoiler:

Reiryoku Control Refinement- Spoiler:
Reiryoku Control Refinement is achieved by doing a 2000 Word Training Topic and will affect all techniques dependent on one's Advanced Reiryoku Control always affecting techniques equal to one's level of Reiryoku control. When one's Advanced Control Resets it is also reset and must be trained again in order to regain it. *Note: This only applies to those who have not yet maxed out the number of techniques a character can have. Once that is done every time one's Advanced Reiryoku Control Resets it does not need to be retrained however the level of techniques it affects is reset to match one's current level of Advanced Reiryoku Control. This of course increases along with additional retraining of Reiryoku Control.
Techniques that are affected by Reiryoku Control Refinement Cost Half as much Reiryoku to utilize however retain the original damage of the technique.
In-Battle TrainingIn Battle Training is essentially delayed Daily Training that is done within a topic. As a result it has all the requirements as Solo training but can either function as an extra training session if done immediately or can be used to learn things in the middle of a topic. Thanks to functioning like Daily Training it resets each Day (OOC) so topics which drag on result in a character able to In-Battle Train once again. In the Dangai however time passes far quicker and thus In-Battle Training gets a boost. Instead of refreshing every day, it refreshes every Hour (OOC). *Note: Do not worry about different timezone's since every post is time stamped a Mod will be able to tell if your hour is up by your next post. If you miss your window (1 Hour OOC to post) then you miss the refreshing for that specific post and won't get 2 upon your next hour and so on. (For example you train at 3 am, are really tired and fall asleep till 11am then you missed the 10 In-Battle Training you could of done.) Group TrainingGroup Training is essentially training through rping with another character, this is required for combination techniques or if one simple wishes to get more out of their available training times. A Character is only able to be in 1 Group Training topic at 1 time, however the number of characters in a topic can vary but the more people involved the longer the training requirements are. Unlike Solo Training which require word count, Group Training requires Post Total, meaning the more posts in a topic the higher rank of technique can be trained. Requirements for Group Training - Spoiler:
This is the requirement for 2 Characters with each character added, it increases the over all Posts required by +1.
Basic = 4 Posts (total) Novice = 8 Posts (total) Apprentice = 10 Posts (total) Adept = 16 Posts (total) Expert = 20 Posts (total) Master = 32 Posts (total) Transcendent = 40 Posts (total) Primordial = 64 Posts (total)
Requirements for Combination TechniquesCombination Techniques follow the Equivalence in order to determine their strength and rank and entail two or more individuals combining their techniques together to create a new one. The Reiryoku price is taken from all the parties involved based on what they are contributing to the combination. (For Example: 2 Novice level techniques make 1 Apprentice level combination technique, 4 Novice level techniques make 1 Adept level combination technique.) - Spoiler:
This is the requirement for 2 Characters with each character added, it increases the over all Posts required by +2.
Basic = 5 Posts (total) Novice = 10 Posts (total) Apprentice = 15 Posts (total) Adept = 20 Posts (total) Expert = 30 Posts (total) Master = 40 Posts (total) Transcendent = 60 Posts (total) Primordial = 80 Posts (total)
Weekly TrainingWeekly Training is for the learning of a new Release and can be done once Per Week (OOC) resetting upon the passing of 7 days. The techniques which fall under this Include: - Spoiler:
Shikai Bankai Shunko Zeige Dich Pokazat' Seubya Nezhit' Letzt Stil Vollstandig Herrschaft Aufstieg Ressureccion Segunda Etapa
Progression TrainingProgression Training is how one goes from one progression to another as well as Transcendence, these are all explained in detail above. Progression Training overrides all other training in that when it is being done nothing else can be trained. Likewise it occurs in a topic and doesn't have any time limit, if it is possible to Progress again or Transcend, then it can be done again & again as long as all the requirements are fulfilled before hand. | |
