A rather poor rural area that mainly comprises of several farms and a rather modest sized slum of poor. However it is near an island which houses a Maximum security prison which only feeds the slums on the outside.

A small village with a large cathedral of grand importance which draws in tourist, though it's largest economic profit comes from the mine at the edge of town. For some odd reason at night, no matter what conditions, the sky is a dark red instead of the traditional blue.

Rukongai makes up the most of the area in the Soul Society as well as houses most of the souls in it, namely the ones that are not shinigami. It so huge that it is divided into five segments, which are further divided into different districts.

Seireitei is in the center of the soul society and is a large shiro with four gates at each side guarded by the four gatekeepers. Seireitei is where the facilities for the various Squads of Shinigami are held as well as various other structures that are under the supervision of the Shinigami. The Walls of Seireitei are made of a substance that negates reiryoku. This creates a barrier around Seireitei in the shape of a bubble with the same effect, however this barrier is invisible to the naked eye.

The landscape of Hueco Mundo is a seemingly never-ending white desert in an unending night, with a multitude of dunes, littered with boulders. In Hueco Mundo, the moon is on the opposite lunar phase of that in the Human World. Like in Soul Society, the atmosphere is filled with a high concentration of Reishi, thus allowing smaller Hollows to gain nourishment despite the lack of Human souls.

The forest is an area below the surface of Hueco Mundo's desert where the average Hollow hide from the Arrancar. The forest is filled with large trees made of a silvery quartz substance. These trees extend to the surface and dot the landscape of the desert in Hueco Mundo. Countless Gillian class Hollow live here and follow the commands of the adjuchas class hollow who have decided to stay within the forest.

An expansive ocean composed of what seems to be clear yet black water, it is unknown whether this oceans water is salted or fresh. Nothing much can be said of the ocean other than the same outcrops that are spread throughout the desert, also outcrop all over the ocean.

The First Level of Hell features a multitude of white blocks floating in mid-air among a series of blue pathways. It is on this level that many of the dejected Togabito reside, having given up on resistance. At the edge of the blue pathway is a gaping abyss, through which the next level can be accessed

The Second Level of Hell is mostly composed of a large body of water. Within this large expanse of water, are a multitude of stone water lilies, in the center of which lies a pierced skeleton of a Kushanāda.

The Third Level of Hell is a rocky, barren landscape with various craters in which yellow lava forms. After the rocky landscape is cleared, there is a narrow passageway lit with the dim lighting from various shrines.

The Fourth Level of Hell starts off with a hilly area in which there are a multitude of small domes jutting out of the ground. From the opening in the face of a cliff, a thundering waterfall with the yellow lava rains down around it. The sand which emits trace amounts of Reiatsu is comprised of the crushed bones of millions of Togabito, who turned to ash due to the hopelessness of their predicament. This section then crosses over into a giant skeleton resembling the ones which make up the Gates of Hell. This overlooks a pit of lava, which has the ability to resurrect killed Togabito.

The Lowermost Level of Hell is composed of a black landscape, with many irregular columns covered in veins of lava jutting out from the ground. The Kushanāda are capable of materializing from within these lava columns.Lightning strikes are a frequent occurrence here. There are also withered trees composed of bones littered across the landscape.
